Brewing Guide
Quietly,
correctly.
As reference, not as rules. The correct way adjusts to your time and tools.
Ritual Notes
On temperature
A thermometer is the simplest solution. Without one, let boiling water rest uncovered for a few minutes — the time varies by vessel and room.
On quantity
Start with 2g. Adjust only after you know what 2g tastes like. More powder is not more quality.
On the vessel
Warm your bowl or cup before use. The temperature drop from a cold vessel changes the result.
On attention
The ritual is not the steps. It is the quality of attention you bring. The tea tastes different when you are present for it.
